Shipping & Delivery

Twins Handmade is based in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

For orders under USD100, there is a flat rate delivery charge. Please refer to the table below. 

If you live in Guayaquil, you can pick up your order at our showroom, upon receipt of payment.

Before our products are shipped, each item is carefully inspected and packaged so that it arrives to you in perfect condition. We also gift wrap all orders for your convenience.

For all deliveries, we use standard international air mail. Orders will be shipped within 24 hours (of a business day) upon receipt of payment. Custom made orders will be shipped within 8 business days upon receipt of payment.

Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only and can vary depending on the part of the world you are in.

Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes, local duties and taxes, and items that are lost in transit.

Size Guide

Most of our necklaces and bracelets are adjustable, unless stated otherwise. After you place your order, you can provide us the your measure so we can adjust the product you just order.

Rings

All of our rings are standard US sizes. If you don’t know your US sizes, we highly suggest getting your US sizes by a local jeweler or visit our showroom.

We will send you the ring size that you order. There are resources online that will allow you to convert ring sizes between different nationalities. Please email us at info@twinshandmade.com if you would like help converting your ring size. 

Jewelry Care

Our jewelry pieces have been crafted and many of the components are put together by hand. As a result, there can sometimes be differences in the colour, size and pattern of the materials or embellishments.

Most of the jewelry on this website/showroom is costume jewelry. Costume jewelry is made of materials that are less valuable than fine jewelry, and usually feature glass, beads, and semi- precious gems. Some pieces are gold or silver plated unless stated otherwise. The finish on plated jewelry may fade progressively over time from wear and tear. You may be able to prevent this by taking a few precautions in the care of your jewelry.

Always avoid contact with chemicals‚ such as hair spray, perfume‚ lotions‚ household cleansers, pool and sea water, and so on. You can help avoid these things by putting your jewelry on last when getting ready to go out. It is also best to remove rings before washing your hands.

Use a soft, clean cloth to wipe your jewelry pieces after wearing them to remove natural body oils, sweat or residue. If your jewelry comes into contact with water, it is recommended that you dry it with a soft cloth or tissue, as moisture can damage surfaces and cause them to rust or become pitted.

Gold and silver plated jewelry will also eventually tarnish or discolor if left out in the open air. To prevent this from happening, store your pieces in a cool, dry place, such as a jewelry box or case with the lid closed. You will find that our purchases from Twins Handmade come in individual see-through bags as it is an easy way for you to store, organise and find your jewelry, as well as prevent tarnishing.

Returns & Exchanges

Most of our pieces are made to order. All orders are also carefully packaged and checked prior to shipping. Customers have 24 hours from receiving their order to report missing or damaged items. 

Custom made orders are non-refundable and can't be returned.

Repair Policy

Please contact us at care@twinshandmade.com if you would like request a repair for an item purchased on our showroom or web shop. Repair on jewelry may be subject to a charge depending on the nature of the damage.
